Summary description:

This service provides expert consultation for designing and/or assembling BAC-based vectors.  This service should be requested when a PI needs a BAC-based transgene or targeting vector but lacks the appropriate experience or personnel. 

This service provides expert consultation for designing and/or assembling BAC-based vectors.  This service should be requested when a PI needs a BAC-based transgene or targeting vector but lacks the appropriate experience or personnel to initiate the design/assembly process. 

Experimental flow:

  1. The principal investigator (PI) submits the appropriate service form to the TMESCSR.
  2. The PI schedules a time to meet with Dr. Mortlock (mortlock@chgr.mc.vanderbilt.edu).
  3. Dr. Mortlock provides the PI with desired information and/or advice.
  4. The PI is billed the month of the consultation is provided.
