This plasmid vector is being viewed within the MagLab Stocks / Plasmids collection. View other collections this resource is shared to.
Summary description:
This plasmid is used for expressing the liver/hepatic isoform of glucokinase in eukaryotic cell lines. It contains a rat glucokinase cDNA (hepatic isoform) fragment that was generated by PCR amplification, then cloned into pCMV4, a plasmid that drives expression from using a cytomegalovirus promoter, a translational augmenter from alfalfa mosaic virus and 3’ splice and polyadenylation signals from human growth hormone gene.
