Research Profile
Dr. Pampee Paul Young is the Medical Director and Assistant Professor of Pathology and Medicine at Vanderbilt University. She is also the Director of the Transfusion Service at Vanderbilt Medical Center and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Dr. Young graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in 1990 and received a Ph.D and M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern 1998. At Washington University Dr. Young completed fellowships in Clinical Pathology, serving as Chief Resident for one year and subsequently a fellowship in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine.
